The best advice can come from anywhere.

We live in a world of opinions. Big ideas, small ideas, everything in between. We all have unique and individual experiences, from childhood to adulthood. How we navigate life often comes down to our experiences, but also the words an dopions of those around us. Sometimes we seek out advice from family, friends, or even complete strangers online. There’s an innate desire for us to learn and grow, and that’s no better exemplified by kids today. Kids are fueled by a passion for knowledge, an urge for discovery, and loaded with questions. Kids should have spaces to share their opinions, start conversations, and empower themselves. That’s why we’re proud to introduce our latest podcast: It’s OK to Ask.

It’s OK to Ask emerged from a desire to create a podcast that encourages a high level of interactivity and engagement. Unique in the field, It’s OK to Ask offers a fresh and interactive listening experience. We’re introducing something new to the podcast space. Technology has come a long way, which is why we decided on incorporating AI to create and enhance the listening experience. This allows us to create a unique and dynamic experience, one where each episode can be different with each listen. Instead of a single outcome, we’re able to offer a near limitless level of outcomes for listeners. Kids are invited and encouraged to not only call in to ask questions, but to give advice as well. Imagine your kid listening to an episode where they end up giving themselves the best possible advice for their particular situation. That’s the kind of experience we’re driven to create, one that offers authenticity, promotes engagement, and sparks inspiration.

Bringing this show to life wouldn’t have been possible without our spectacular host, Nina Purewal. Nina is the founder of Pure Minds, a social enterprise that conducts mindfulness and meditation workshops. She is also the co-author of the international bestseller, Let That Sh*t Go. As a parent, Nina believes in offering emotional support to children by listening to them and having conversations. Kids have questions and deserve answers, and what better way to create a space for that than to have kids take charge in these conversations. As important as it is to ask questions, it’s equally important to find just the right answer.

Our first episode is available to listen on Apple Podcasts or whichever platform you prefer. As we continue to make new episodes for It’s OK to Ask, it’s important for us to maintain our belief that kids are ready. The world is challenging. We often find ourselves in sticky situations where we’re not sure what to do, how to act, or what to say. At the end of the day, it’s OK to ask for help. That’s the core reason for creating this show, to acknowledge that we all need a little help sometimes, and that little bit of help can come from anyone, anywhere. Who knows, the best advice may even be your own.
