Navigating Setbacks and Discovering Strength at Nandi Hills

👦 🌄 I went to Nandi Hills with my family, hoping that we would spend a day of relaxation and sightseeing. However, our trip did not start off smoothly. The roads were congested with heavy traffic, which made us doubt whether it was a good day for our outing.

🏨 Upon finally reaching our hotel, we were waiting impatiently to check-in to our room. However, we were told that it was not ready yet and were asked to wait for 1–2 hours. Despite our initial disappointment, we tried our best to pass the time with patience and understanding.

⏲ But when we checked back, there was still a delay of 20 minutes. At this point, the frustration set in, which tested our resilience and ability to stay positive.

👨👩👦 🍲 After finally reaching our room, we went to the hotel restaurant for lunch, hoping to relax and recharge. We found out that there was no food service available that day as their chef was sick and hospitalized. It felt like everything was going wrong. It seemed like one failure after another.

😠 Frustrated but determined to not let these challenges ruin my day.

🔆 This is what I call “live in your present moment”. Back in our room, we ordered food from outside, although it took some effort.
