Warning Comes Before Destruction

My whole life and everything that concerns me is tucked in the peace and protection of God.

I have the peace of God because I am confident that God makes no mistakes. I dare not and won’t question what he is doing. Nothing happens that God don’t allows. He controls the wind and the waves. At his command they obey! If it’s happening, it’s because he wants it to. I know this and I believe this to be true. I also know that..

Warning comes before destruction.

“So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it. For the message God delivered through angels has always stood firm, and every violation of the law and every act of disobedience was punished.” Hebrews‬ ‭2:1–2‬ ‭

When a warning is given, it also comes with instructions on what to do to prepare for the destruction.

God told told Adam do not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Warning). He also told them if they did that they would surely die (Destruction).

Well Adam did not take heed to that warning and in fact ate from that tree. Due to this he was kicked out of the garden of Eden and had to work hard for the rest of his life.

Why you say? I’m glad you asked…because he ignored the warning of The Lord.

Thank God for his grace and mercy that he didn’t kill them like he said he would. However, they did have to suffer the consequences in destruction from them not taking heed to the warning and doing what God asked of them. They got kicked out of the garden of Eden where they had everything. Even unbroken fellowship with God and in his presence. They were set up for life.

It was when they ignored God’s warning that they were ashamed and hid.

So when destruction comes and you have ignored the warning(s) and didn’t do what God told you to do, you will panic. That along with many other things such as worry, shame, guilt, blame, confusion, hiding, trying to cover up, and even questioning God when you don’t take heed to the warning.

We do the same thing when God tells us don’t go there tonight, it’s not going to end well. You ignore his warning and you go anyway. When the fight broke out and you heard gun shoots and you hiding trying to find cover saying Lord you told me not to go here.

Thank God for his grace you didn’t get hurt. However, you was bruised up a little from running and trying to get to safety. When safety was right at your full disclosure had you taken heed to the warning of God “Don’t go there tonight”. It’s all the same things Adam and Eve did when they realized they had sinned against God.

Thank God for his grace and mercy because it gives us a chance to do what is right.

We don’t have to act the way Adam and Eve did to the warning of God. We can indeed take heed and obey what he is asking of us.

What has God told you to do that you are ignoring?

You don’t have to live a life of destruction and dysfunction. Repent today and turn to God for the help, guidance, and direction for what to do after you do what he has instructed you to do. Receive his love into your heart.

God’s desire isn’t for you to live a life of destruction, it’s to live a life of destiny and on purpose.

With this being said let us pray

Dear Lord, first as far most I pray for your hand of protection to protect us durning this storm and whatever other storms we may face in our life. Lord I pray that you will act as a spiritual blanket over every home and family in the mighty name of Jesus.

Lord we realize that our families are too large then our arms can reach but not your arms. We trust you with our families and everyone we love. May your protection be with our families.

Lord I also pray for the mercy and grace of God to come upon all of those who don’t know you and haven’t given their lives to you. Please let their lives to be spared. I pray for every backslider to repent and return to you Father.

Let them know how much you love them and how you will remove the stain of guilt and forgive their sins.

Dear Lord I pray for a crying out of repentance to burst out in the land for those of us who have heard your warning(s), instructions and yet refuse to do what you have told us to do. Have mercy Oh God. I pray Lord that every hardened heart be soften in the name of Jesus. Lord I pray that you will open the blinded eyes so they can see and the deaf ears so they can hear what the spirit of God is saying.

Lastly Lord, I pray that as we turn to you that you will Restore the soul of our salvation and send revival. I pray that you will protect every new covenant that is being made with you even now as I’m praying.

Lord help us take heed to your warning(s) so that we will be prepared for any destruction you may send to this world.

We are in this world but as your children we are not of this world so we are privileged to even get warnings. Let us not take them for granted. It’s a privilege we have as your children to be protected when destruction comes. Above all else God give us a desire to thirst and seek after you, give us a burning hunger for your word. I thank you father for answering this prayer and I give you all the glory, honor, and praise. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
