Trying to blog in Adobe Muse is like…
Fill in the blank here but make sure it’s an explitive followed by something nearly impossible. ☹
I used to think I was a pretty tech savvy person but for some reason this adding an embedded blog into my Adobe Muse designs, for myself and my clients, has turned into a proverbial search for the holy grail.
I first tried Nabble. I think they aren’t in business anymore, nothing worked.
I then tried to port over my old blogger blog using RSS Blog widget. Even though it claims to use style sheets, I never could get it to appear correctly. It was displaying in default fonts and colors. How very 1995 Netscape of it!
So next up was Expin. Uh, yeah, uh, NO. NEXT!
24LIVEBLOG claims to be very plug-inable but I didn’t find it user friendly. Very basic, I might as well use blogger and RSS feed widget for that basic styling.
So now I’m trying Medium. I like the interface, mostly. It’s almost TOO sparse! I set up a publication, adding stories as you read this, followed the instructions but nothing seems to work the way it should and using a widget from Musegrid to display it in Adobe Muse has proved pointless.
I’m about ready to give up I’m so frustrated. About to… ☺
