Indonesia was a impromptu destination when Nepal fell through — but I am SO happy we went here, I think it is my 2nd favorite place we’ve visited in the world! 🌍 To start, we met some amazing people including an incredible gentleman from a Netflix documentaries called Departures, a friend of a friend who worked at Twitter and met us on a deserted beach, and a retired miner who had one of the world’s most dangerous jobs mining sulphur in Ijen!
Indonesia was also a scuba diving paradise. Crystal clear warm waters that brings herds of wildlife into the reefs for food. One one dive, we saw 15 turtles!!! And one turtle swam into my back as it tried to push its way to a patch of coral below. I really wanted this video to be perfect… so I didn’t publish it … and I still think I can make it better but Olivier wants to share it so I’ll leave it as is, and hope you enjoy it. ☺️
