After many days of driving through the South Island, we finally reached the place that was at the top of our list: Milford Sound.

Milford Sound is the place you think about when you think about New Zealand. Some people have called it the eighth Wonder of the World.

One of the best ways to see it is to get on a boat that will take you from the port, through the 15 kilometers of fjord, and out to the Tasman Sea!

As you cruise through, you’re surrounded by dramatic cliffs as high at 1,500 meters, covered in hundreds of waterfalls. Milford Sound is one of the wettest places on Earth, and the number of waterfalls is there to prove it to you!

This is by far one of the craziest places we’ve been to. Seeing the water fall over 500 meters on the epic cliffs looks like a scene from a movie.
