📸 —Monkey Forest - Ubud, Indonesia
After our plans fell through for Nepal, China and India, a surprise came in the form of a ticket to Indonesia.
We landed on the island of Bali and made way to Ubud where we had heard there was awesome food, sites and people. The first night we were there, we spent a solid 2 hours walking about the monkey forest — a large park that has over 700 monkeys that live there. It’s turned into a tourist attraction and man, these monkeys are smart! You are not allowed food in the park… or the monkeys will find it.. and a guy came in with a closed Pringles chips can.. and the monkey managed to scary him enough to open his back pack, grab the can and run off into the distance!
Maeghan gets nervous around animals with large teeth..even though she has her rabbits shot… so most pictures are from a distance and almost all the gopro footage is over her screaming or jumping when one comes too close.
