Embracing Resilience; A Glimpse of a Mom’s Journey
We all have a voice in us that doesn’t believe we’re capable of anything!
I am a mom of two beautiful daughters (6 & 4). Becoming a mom was awesome, It was joy, love, and fun all at once. With all the positivity a bit of rainy cloud overtook me. It was challenging, a bit overwhelming too.
Motherhood was a rollercoaster that felt like it overshadowed my personality.
I craved growth and wanted to love myself so well enough that Love would be exuberant all around me.
In searching for my purpose I found solace in homeschooling my eldest daughter. Amidst all the questions and negative comments, I pursued it so well that she started reading by the age of just three.
I saw progress in me, and my closest ones benefited too.
Was the journey easy? No!
Being a homeschooling mom has never been easy. I was reminded daily how stupid my idea was. I was told my kids were victims and they were suffering.
Now I say proudly “My children are not the ones suffering.” They’re well-aware and far more mature than their peers. I pray and will always try to be the best mom for my two little angels, so they figure themselves out and evolve day by day.
