In brief, most people do not understand those who pursue perfection. For example, most geniuses, who I see as striving for perfection, were not mentored or understood by the mediocre (majority).

The majority does not see any value in striving for perfection. And that is exactly why most products and services today are merely ‘good enough.’

Why bother if the majority does not require more than ‘good enough’?

“Perfection hinders your path to success.” – Mediocrity

While the majority sees perfectionism as unnecessary procrastination, truly successful individuals understand the maxim “No pain, no gain.” But for that, one first needs to calibrate their moral compass to accurately define the true meaning of success.

So, what is success?

Success is a very subjective thing that most people perceive as achieving more by doing less while also engaging in less ethical practices. For example, the popular ‘Release first, fix later’ business approach.
