Cala Bassa
Just a 20 minute drive from San Antonio lies Cala Bassa beach. With its golden sand and clear water this is an extremely popular and busy destination, especially on weekends, so plan to arrive early and get a spot. For those who prefer shade to sun there are ancient Salima trees offering refuge from the heat. Rock formations surround the beach and are popular with rock divers. As popular as it is with teenagers, it’s a welcoming beach for families with small children and there is a roped off area in the sea that keeps swimmers safe from boats and jet skis.
