Stone-Faced
on this stone
sink his full moon
head stared
at my stolen
breath. He learned
anew how to worship
like a boy among
candles and wreathed
flowers, the way Mary
prayed below six
crossed feet, her two
lungs anchors
in a porcelain
basin.
