Hi, I’m Lucinda and I am excited to start this English language publication for all things Indonesian, from all writers.
I learned Indonesian by ear as a child, and I have a BA in Indonesian Studies from SOAS at the University of London, 1991. I’m a native English speaker and an experienced editor of two publications here on Medium.
If you write in Indonesian but would like to publish in English, this is also a publication for you. Medium’s built-in translator does a good job to translate from Indonesian to English, but it’s not perfect. Speaking both languages, and being an editor, I am happy to edit and publish quality stories in English here at A-neka Indonesia.
