Allow them to dive into our love

Here comes another droplet of rain
To hit the surface of our lake of love
To blend with the drops from above
The ones our eyes could not contain.

As the laws dictate, it creates a ripple
As our souls wish, it enhances growth
Our promises kept, and so is our oath
Sadness ain’t a push, but just a tickle.

A tiny tickle that reminds you to laugh
So you focus on the things that matter
A tiny droplet on its own can’t shatter
That which love has built on our behalf.

So please allow the ripple to take shape
Allow all the droplets to dive in the lake
Tearful moments ain’t nobody’s mistake
Only reality we shan't choose to escape.
