True love comes from understanding

Discovering my chosen family

She found me for a reason
Took her time to know me
Freed me from the prison
Which I built for me to be.

True love comes from understanding
And she has the patience to truly see
Our love so many hits is withstanding
And never breaks or attempts to flee.

We know we are so different
We accept it with our hearts
Creating a love magnificent
Out of a couple broken parts.
