We can solve the world’s problems when two old guys get together.
I have about 105 years or so of wisdom to bestow upon the world, and Papaw seems to think his 71 years offer him a fair bit of learned life to share with others.
Mom and Dad abandoned me at Papaw’s house, so we’ve been jawing quite a bit lately. When we go out on smoke breaks, we often discuss everything about life and share the wisdom we’ve accumulated over the years.
If dog years are equivalent to people years, we have a collective 176 years of wisdom to share.
Here are some of the things we discuss:
The good ‘ole days
Remember the good days when we were young? Ah, I remember when we could move quickly, and our hips didn’t hurt when we stood up. The stairs were easy to climb; we could run up and down them multiple times each day.
Our past generations could learn a thing or two. Things were better in our day. Life was simpler before everyone got attached to the internet. We looked at each other in the eyes and talked to each other face-to-face.
