YOU ARE ENOUGH!

All love starts with self-love.

The sages tell us to Love our neighbors as though they are us, but to do so requires us to love ourselves first.

And in a world that tells us on every screen we look at that we are too fat, to thin, too this and not enough that unless we buy more of whatever it’s selling us, it is very hard to find space to love ourselves!

We see so many happy people on everybody else’s Facebook or Instagram feeds. They all look perfect and pretty and happy with perfect pretty smiling families we’re sure they always get along with unlike ours.

We judge and compare and resent and regret and get offended and defriended and think this is normal every day life?

Life can be much more when we stop and realize we are enough right now!

We are thin enough

We are big enough

We are not too tall or small

We are smart and bright

We are not stupid at all!

We are kind some say witty

We have a unique mind

We have our own story we have lived it

We struggle and resist it

We know its ours we insist it must be for the greater good

We persist in it

We are enough!

Right now look into your phone video screen and tell yourself

with all the heart you can muster!

I’m enough to have all the good I desire

I’m bringing to life

What sets my soul on fire!

Smile and say it

It’s okay every day it

May feel harder to believe

You deserve all you need

You are worthy of happiness

With that peaceful thought

You can rest yes indeed.
