Human Nature…?
a poem
How dare i judge another…?
Knowing what i know we know about each other…
Fallible.
Farcical.
Buried in stories,
treat lives like an article,
use it once and toss it out.
Judgment seems natural as breathing,
but its only from ignorance breeding.
The lack of lessons available for believing.
The lack of faith to know things
come to be for a reason.
People only come to be for a reason.
Yet we only think about winters,
the sum of those devout sinners
who’s hearts fall victim to hopes.
Oh…
If only i could heal this judgmental heart of mine…
It causes my stark decline.
Nothing can be what it is
without me imprisoning it
within my short sighted expectations.
Imprisoning myself really…
Want to blame others for this stressed feeling,
but I’m fishing for the pain and regret reeling,
it in,
it spins.
After i try to let go,
look down and realize my rods just a stick and a pole.
