One day last week, when looking for a recipe on my phone, I was surprised to find a series of shots that took me a while to identify. At first, I was astounded by the sheer number of pages and pages of them, where normally there would have been several years' worth of photos. However, all of them resembled the above photo in different ways. I began erasing them, sure some malfunction had occurred with my phone.

A cathedral of light? A bold pink sunrise? A pink-tinged building with one window, or are those faces? Is someone riding a horse?

A pink fantasy; billows of pink ballooning up from earth; a bubbly pink cocktail. I hadn’t seen anything like that nor taken any such photos.
