Being Thankful Every Day for Small Things
Unthankfulness is not beneficial.

Many people in this life are unthankful. I started noticing in the late 1980s and early 90s that children and teenagers were unthankful for the presents that they received.
I opened a cleaning business in the early 90s and I would clean children’s rooms to find clothes wadded up with price tags still on them. There would be very expensive items. You would find checks written out to them for gifts just on the floor along with money scattered with trash.
That era was not taught to respect the value of the dollar. The internet had come out and a lot of their parents had become rich and their generation afterward. People started making money online. Businesses were starting up. Children were spoiled with material things instead of being taught respect and be moral.
This started making me look at my life very closely. This country had become so wasteful with money and food. There are a lot of hungry people in this country and restaurants and people just throw food away or let it ruin.
I started every day by taking everything I had and telling the Lord what I was thankful for. I would imagine if I did not have that substance and then I would pray and thank him for it. It…
