Happiness comes from within. It is not dependent on external things or on other people

Typically, happiness is an emotional state characterized by feelings of joy, satisfaction, contentment, and fulfillment. While happiness has many different definitions, it is often described as involving positive emotions and life satisfaction.

When we think about happiness, we can think of lots of things, such as joy, pleasure, satisfaction, gratitude, contentment, peace of mind, social connection, acceptance, a sense of purpose, or wellbeing.

Happiness has a lot to do with our feelings and emotional state, but it also can involve our physical wellbeing and having a sense of safety and security in our lives.

Happiness is a word often misquoted by many people living in society. A person who regularly drinks alcohol to extremes and enjoys with his drinking friends cannot be strictly called happy, but can only be said to shift to a high mood or energy level.

As human beings, we feel happiness and sadness in our daily life. A simple thing like the smile of a baby can create ripples of happy feelings in our souls.

Take another case where your mother is maintaining a vegetable garden in your backyard. We say that your mother is happy and fulfilled in looking after the vegetable garden, harvesting fresh vegetables and distributing it to friends and relatives.

A peaceful family with loving parents and siblings is the key to happiness in our life. A prayerful family trusts in God and lives a life of honesty, compassion and mercifulness. The relationships within the family and among other members of the community will be exemplary and pleasing to God and men.

A few people feel happiness in serving others like part-time volunteering to work in a local NGO or a support group helping the poor and needy people in society.

Let me make it very clear that amassing money alone cannot make a person happy. But it is in using your money to help others which makes life meaningful.

Happiness is being surrounded by people who make me feel comfortable and safe.

I like doing this by spending time going out with my friends, watching movies with my parents, asking my siblings about their day, and engaging in new experiences, as well as dancing with my dance team.

Above all, you must not keep any hatred or grudge against anyone in your family, relatives or other people in society. The act of continuously forgiving your enemies and fervently praying for them to the almighty makes our life happy and meaningful.

The happy man is satisfied with his present situation, no matter what it is, and eyes his fortune with contentment; the happy man is the one who permits reason to evaluate every condition of his existence.
