By this time in the NFL season the good teams have separated themselves from the bad and the contenders are showing, as are the tankers. There are eight teams that look like they could be playing in February. Those teams are New England, Kansas City, Baltimore, Seattle, San Francisco, New Orleans, Minnesota and Green Bay. Then you have the Bengals and Redskins fighting for the #1 pick.

As for the Contenders in the AFC. Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. That’s all you have to say for New England and they’ve got a chance. Kansas City, Patrick Mahomes is Patrick Mahomes. Although this isn’t the Kansas City we saw last year this team is really good and as long as Mahomes and Hill are healthy and Andy Reid continues coaching well this team could make it to February. Baltimore has been the most explosive team in the NFL and has the potential MVP in Lamar Jackson running the show.

Now to the NFC. San Francisco started off 8–0 and their first loss was to a very good team in Seattle but the first 8 games were a lot easier than the second 8 will be. Seattle, they beat the Niners ending their undefeated season and they have an experienced Russell Wilson in control who is also looking for a MVP this season. New Orleans and Green Bay, Just like the Patriots in the AFC, Drew Brees and Green Bay are two of the best QBs the game has ever seen and are both having good seasons that could easily continue until February. Minnesota, Possibly the least likely of these teams due to their inconsistency and the past of Kirk Cousins but this team has looked great this season. Kirk has been a different player and Dalvin Cook has been a top two RB in the league and that could carry on until February
