Accept Yourself and Be Free

Today, take a minute (or more) and practice the mantra,

“I accept myself complete with all of my flaws.”

Say that as many times as it takes for it to sink in.

Author George R. R. Martin said, “Once you have accepted your flaws — no one can use them against you.”

When we become comfortable with ourselves — imperfections and all, we will automatically discover that we have less need for validation from others.

This develops a quiet strength where opinions of others are no longer the driving force in the way we live our lives.

Eventually, we will learn to follow our gut — our own instincts.

Then, finally, we are being true to our path — and aligned with our soul.

In other words, accepting yourself offers the freedom to be yourself.
