This week I have included two new style prompts to the Weekly Prompts post to tease and tickle your muse.

A video prompt:

When I watch a movie or a video it sometimes kickstarts my muse to wake up and get busy. I am talking about that moment when you’re chilling and your eyes are glued to the screen. You are absorbed in the visuals, and an electrical spark hits you, out of nowhere like a refreshing snowstorm.

Sometimes a character’s dialogue or persona, scene, or music connects with your imagination or reminds you of a certain memory. Your muse whispers ideas and plots to you.

I use video stimulus material in lessons frequently. A video can be a great way to ignite discussions, essays, poems, or individual research articles.

I am glad I have revived the video prompts idea I used in 2022. I trust they will prompt many stories from our community.

Poetry sparks prompt:

A Taste for Life’s four-word creative prompt is quite popular and has inspired many stories. This gave me a new idea for a poetry prompt.
