What Is the “Good Medicine” of Life?
It can fill your heart with joy
Everyone might encounter troubles in life. At this moment, a smile can turn our mood from cloudy to sunny. If you’re lucky enough to meet someone with a great sense of humor, they’ll make your day.
Today I drove to a supermarket which is very close to where I live. It’s a quiet road with very little traffic as far as I know.
But it seems very busy there today. A large excavator was parked in the middle of the road, surrounded by guardrails, and several people in orange overalls were working inside, making the originally spacious road look very narrow.
Fortunately, two workers were standing respectively at the entrance and exit of the construction site to maintain traffic order.
The guy at the entrance was the first to hold up a “Stop” sign as my car approached. After a while, he put down the sign and held up the “Slow” sign, indicating that I could drive over.
