Good music takes time to create and when you form a band knowing you won’t actually put anything out or play a show for a few years, it can be a little daunting. Australia’s Atlas Genius spent a good two and a half to three years focusing on developing their sound and perfecting their craft before playing a live show. Then came the time they knew the music was ready, and without any big label or backing, they released their debut single “Trojans” and that’s when things began to take off. As the song climbed radio charts, they were still unsigned and doing it pretty much all on their own. An EP release in 2012 after signing to Warner Brothers then led to their debut album release in February of this year. Touring almost non stop since then, they have been the headliner and opener in just about every city. Chances are that you may have heard their song and maybe you even caught some of their opening set, but that’s no reason to miss a show of theirs!

The band just headed back out on the road and will be traveling through most cities between now and November 11th before heading over to the UK. Dates are listed here: https://www.facebook.com/AtlasGenius/app_574622195922434?ref=ts
