While most of my friends are back at school, I get to spend my last week of summer seeing a plethora of musical talent. Tonight started things off with the fun. and Tegan & Sara concert. Having seen fun. a few times before, I had an idea of what I could expect, but what was delivered blew my expectations out of the water.

Tegan & Sara started the night playing a collection of their most well known songs dispersed between some of the lesser known ones. That didn’t stop anyone from singing along and learning the lyrics as the show went on. From colorful lighting to spot on vocals, the 45 minute set proved a great start to the show.

fun.

Around 9.30, following the sounds of intro music, fun. took to the stage and started in in the left corner with a spotlight shining on the Nate, Andrew and Jack. As they sang perfect version of the Some Nights Intro track off the latest album. Following that, the energy took off as they sang a marathon of hit songs. Not only was the music great, but per their usual performance, the visual was fantastic as well. From a brightly colored stage to confetti that propelled it way to the farthest corners of the theater, there was never a dull moment.
