Justin from The Morning Of answered some questions over email the other day.

Q: Where does the band name come from?
A: It means a fresh start; like every morning starts a new day.

Q: How did you all meet?
A: Jess, Chris, and Rob went to High School together, I was introduced by a friend and so was Dan.

Q: Are your parents supportive of your music?
A: All of our parents are super supportive. If they weren’t, we wouldn’t be able to do this.

Q: If you were not musicians what would you be doing?
A: If I wasn’t a musician I’d probably be attending a University. We all go to school online so I assume it’d be the same for all of us.

Q: What do you think is most important about your music?
A: The passion we put into making our music is audible on our new record, thats what’s most important.

Q: How do you describe your music?
A: Piano Rock

Q: Are there any messages you try to convey in you music?
A: Nothing specific; we have songs about ups and downs.

Q: With two albums done, what are your plans?
A: 2010 we will spend almost entirely on the road and hopefully the record takes off.

Q: What TV show would you want to have a song on?
A: The Office

Q: What is something interesting most people do not know about yourself or the band?
A: Were super close; even when we aren’t on tour, were always hanging out.
