Fill your house with stacks of books, in all the crannies and all the nooks” — Dr. Seuss.

I love reading books, especially for self-development and growth purposes. So in 2019, a small group of us would meet up in the local library to discuss our current reads and, more importantly, what we planned to put into action from these books. Then the pandemic hit, and the world went into lockdown.

This was when I rediscovered Goodreads, which is a social media site for the bookish. I have been a member since 2017. If I am not writing on this platform, then it’s guaranteed you can find me there! It’s a great site where I can follow the reading progress of my friends. However, my favourite part of Goodreads is the discussion groups you can join. Within these groups, you can participate in polls, watch book-related videos, get recommendations, and see what other people with similar interests are reading.
