From January to June: Books That Have Shaped My Year So Far
Sharing with you a mid-year reflection on some of the most influential reads from the first half of 2024
Somehow that time of year has come around again, and we’re already into the second half of 2024. Despite being a firm believer in quality over quantity when it comes to reading, I set myself the ambitious target of reading 100 books this year. Just for fun!
You’ll be pleased to know I have read 51 as of writing, so I am on track to meet this goal. However, I wanted to take the time to reflect on the large quantity of books I’ve read so far, so they don’t get lost in the ether or my reading brain as that is entirely possible when reading so many books.
Without further or do, I’m going to pick a favourite book from every month of the year so far and tell you how it made me feel, give you an insight into it and whether you should read it or not.
