Filled with intrigue and mystery, The Girl who knew Da Vinci is a book that mixes the past with the present. The story begins in the past during the German Nazi invasion of Rome. The author sets up the story with two young lovers trying to escape Rome and keep a special painting safe.

A time jump to the present begins the story of the main characters, and we meet Angela for the first time. It is here more intrigue begins as we see Angela having blackouts and visions. As the story goes on and a few more time lapses to an even further back past to the time of Leonardo Da Vinci, we begin to understand she is a reincarnation of a best friend of Da Vinci.

She begins a journey with an art recovery agent to find a painting that may or may not exist. They both find out that he is also a reincarnation of a man in love with Leonardo Da Vinci's best friend. Is she the reincarnation of the best friend, though? As you read, it is revealed there may have been past reincarnations of Angela and her new love. Are these two doomed to repeat the past?

The flashbacks are mesmerizing as the book goes on and more and more pieces of the puzzle come together. On top of this mystery, unbeknownst to Angela, her previous not so appropriate boss is actually looking for the same painting she is.

He is a ruthless, no rules type of man that is always one step behind her. Is he looking for Angela too after she refused his advances? Will he find the painting before her, or will he run into her as they both find it at the same time?

The recounting of the past is done through visions Angela has that become more and more real as she travels around Italy to the land and homes of her previous incarnations. With these visions come sinister messages. The ghosts of the past warn Angela not to repeat as they had with her 2 past incarnations.

A story full of intrigue and suspense

But how do you escape what may be fate in having the past repeat a third time? Is the painting they are looking for real? There are others who believe it is and will stop at nothing to find this painting. Will they be Angela and her lovers undoing?

You will have to read The Girl Who Knew Da Vinci to find the answers to these questions and more.
