If you live in Mumbai, you would probably see this message behind autorickshaws everyday, during commute:

Which probably has its roots in:

If you educate a man you educate an individual, but if you educate a woman you educate a family (nation).” — Dr. James Emmanuel Kwegyir-Aggrey

Taking this concept, we brainstormed further to add a few more concepts:
The joy of reading — entering an alternate realm through books, symbolised by being the only person on the Earth, and,
The tree of enlightenment — symbolised by the brain

And converted this mix into a bookmark:

As an afterthought, the design would also look good as an iPod cover. :)
