Priorities: What we want

People want to work as little as possible and accumulate as much as possible.

Not me. Stuff disappears. If all we are working for is a Beamer and a Beach house what’s the point? In less than 10 years your cool car will be outdated and the beach house deteriorating. Even if nothing rotted you will rot. Your flesh is the time-clock that voids your possessions of value. Once the timer dings you are at dirt again.

Think it through, what do I really want? If it’s stuff I’m a fool.

Happiness? Fame? Pleasure? - these on the surface make more sense than stuff, but once you start digging the facade is just as shallow. King Solomon cried “Everything is meaningless” as he hit the nail square.
