New Beginning
Microfiction
A teardrop rolled down Amy’s face. She hated moving to this new place where everyone knew everyone but her.
Amy decided to plead to her parents to go back to her old school where she had friends, best friends, who were not mean to her, unlike the kids here. Adjusting to the new school is hard as if first-grade wasn’t hard enough!
“Can I sit with you?”, the round-faced kid with two ponytails asked Amy.
“Sure!”, she answered toning down her excitement.
Maybe I will give this school another chance, she thought.
