Biotechnology is an opportunity for a better tomorrow for everyone. That’s why we place so much importance on the values that underpin our innovations and combine emerging technologies with sustainability. Fortunately, we are not alone in the biotech industry going down this path.

Biotech plays a certain role in achieving the goals of the 2030 Agenda

Sustainable development goals are neither utopian nor unattainable, but they require cooperation and a change mindset. As the covid-19 pandemic hit people and the world’s economies hard, biotech and pharma gained the impetus for rapid technological development and the tools to respond more effectively to current needs. What they achieved then is paying off and providing more opportunities than ever before. The worldwide tragedy has become a simultaneous charge to accelerate the digital revolution in a new, humanistic edition. Welfare and equal access to goods have ceased to be mere slogans and have returned to the center stage of discussions among scientists and entrepreneurs.

Most of the areas the UN outlines in its development goals can be successfully addressed by industry, including pharma. However, some require close cooperation with governments and policymakers at national and regional levels. On the other hand, some can be developed independently, within a given company, in collaboration between corporations, or across a given industry.

Meaningful innovations in the service of global change

When we plan activities in the company, both externally and internally, we do everything to ensure that they align with our values and sustainability goals. That is what our goals commit us to, as well as our respect for employees, partners, and other people. For us, aligning our actions with global responsibility for the world is an indicator of progress and change toward Industry 5.0.

Believing in the tenets of Industry 5.0, we are convinced that sustainability is our responsibility, as is putting people and their environment at the center of our activities.

As a relatively young enterprise that wants to impact reality, we are publishing our Report on Sustainable Development Goals to demonstrate that every company can be a meaningful part of the global movement.

From the report, you will learn what measures we have introduced and what goals we have set for ourselves.

It includes topics and objectives on:

  • Corporate governance
  • Diversity & Inclusion
  • CSR
  • Learning organization
  • Volunteering & Philanthropy

We hope our voice will contribute to discussions and real changes in the actions of companies, and as a learning organization, we would welcome any comments and good practices.
