Dr. Susan Copeland, a Professor at the University of New Mexico, will share her journey from being a PhD student to an early career professional to an experienced and distinguished professor in the field of special education. Specifically, Dr. Copeland will talk about what a search committee usually looks for in good candidates, different routes after PhD programs, and advice for PhD students and early career professionals on how to establish a professional career in the field.
