Enable Wireless Builds / Debug in Xcode 9 & iOS 11

  • iOS11 Beta or Later
  • Xcode 9 Beta or Later
  1. Xcode Menubar > Window > Devices and Simulators
  2. Devices and Simulators
  3. Select your connected device.
  4. Check the “Connect via network” box.

That’s all! The network icon next to your device name means it’s connected. If you’re having problems, try turning Wifi on and off on both devices; and make sure you can actually ping your device from your development Mac. You can also remotely build to your AppleTV by going to Remotes and Devices > Remote App and Devices and pairing from your Mac.
