Whoops, something went wrong with the scheduling so this post was delayed. Anyway, here we go!

Its been a busy week with lots of ups and unfortunately downs. Ok, lets recap the week.

Market research

As you might know, we are mostly working on our market validation research. A hard task to finish but we are making great progress. What we got ready:

  • Market scale research √
  • Target group definition √
  • Questionnaire (Please fill this in if you haven’t already)√
  • Complete Marketing strategy√

We are currently tweaking our questionnaire. Once it is absolutely perfect we will boost it out in order to get a minimum of 500 replies. This enables us to extrapolate the profile to a ‘clone’ group which we can start to target on social media.

This week, Joost met with Martijn -Aavio’s video director- to discuss the content we need in order to present the concept and attract attention. The video will form the tip of the marketing spear, targeted to the clone group, at the exact locations of universities. This is where our fun starts…

Development

Danieël just released two updates for the app. He’s killing it!

Meeting

As we mentioned last week, Erno was in Berlin to give a marketing lecture on the University of Berlin and to teach his own students about international business. Erno knew that the innovation hub of Lufthansa was there too so he rented a bike, paddled several kilometers through the city, and ended up at the Lufthansa innovation HUB to see if he could talk to one of the innovation directors. He met Henning who is Lufthansa’s Venture director. They talked about Aavio, Lufthansa’s goals and the role of crypto as an alternative to Airmiles within the airline industry. It was a good talk. Henning is helping us out to find someone who can take it from here.

That's it for this week! Next week, London to meet with the Directors of Gatwick Airport (sponsored by Sneaky Penguin)!
