[W.29] Time for holiday!

Hi Guys!

It is mid July and that means that most people are enjoying their holiday. It also means that doing our thing becomes a lot harder when people are finishing things up before they go or are not simply available. So it is the perfect period to take a break too. We’ll still be doing small stuff but strive to get back to full-steam mode around the end of August. So lets recap this week

Taxes

Aavio is an officially registered company which means we have to do our taxes ever quarter. Thanks to the Dutch Tax agency’s online portal and our structured bookkeeping, this was easy-peasy.

Accelerator program

We got an invitation to register for IAG’s (international airline group, owner of Vueling, British Airways and Aer Lingus) accelerator program ‘Hangar 51’. After having read all the terms & agreements, we signed up. The sign-up closes in the beginning of August and the first pitches take place in Madrid, in the beginning of September.

Lightpaper

Perhaps the most boring work we did in a long while but necessary for sure. We just released our first Lightpaper! Have a read and let us know what you think!

Summer holiday

As we said before, we are going to have a short break and will resume operations when everyone is back at the end of august. As you probably already expected, Joost will remain active on our discord.
