ABN AMRO introduces a new API: Business Account Insight

Accessing your bank statements without a banking tool? What?!
Efficiency is key. So, why would you want to go -all the way- to your internet banking page to retrieve your bank statement? You want and need this information in your financial application. Today, we launch the closed beta for the Business Account Insight API. Use this API to get direct access to your own ABN AMRO business account.
Why use this API?
The Business Account Insight API provides real-time insights on transaction details and balances, that occurred over the last 18-months, without the need to log in to your online banking channel. You can retrieve the information from any application of your choosing, such as your CRM, ERP, Treasury Management System or business intelligence tool.
This API adds value by skipping manual actions, such as: downloads and uploads of bank statements, while increasing security, flexibility and data integrity, and enhancing internal processes. All through a REST service.
Who should use the API?
All companies that value efficiency. Treasurers from larger companies can embed the functionality of this API into their core activities, creating better and faster insight and fuel leaner internal processes.
You do not need to be a big company to profit from the additional value that this API can bring. The Business Account Insight API is well suited for small and medium enterprises. Let’s be honest, you want to focus on growth and automate banking as much as possible! Let’s do that together.
The closed beta
The closed beta started today, which means that a select group of clients have access to the API in the sandbox and production environment. Our aim is to open this API to all ABN AMRO business clients as soon as possible.
Want to join the closed beta? Enrollment is closed, however, we are awarding one extra spot for the company that has the most compelling use case. Send us a message via the contact form with your information and why your company wants to participate in the closed beta. There are two prerequisites: you must be a business client of ABN AMRO, and you must have development capability.
