Tikkie is incredibly versatile, particularly when it comes to automating payment requests. Our API allows you to integrate Tikkie products into your own company systems and administration processes. Take a look at the benefits for your company and read about a prime example of a company that’s taking huge steps thanks to Jitso, a software company. You don’t have to do everything by yourself 😉.

Tikkie X Jitso

The advantages of the Tikkie API

If you want to send bulk payment requests by email or WhatsApp, our API creates a link for you to share with your clients however you want. The API also makes it easy for you to generate an overview of all payments. That’s useful!

Software and automation aren’t your thing?

Let us give you a hand. You’re not the first company to ask for help taking steps. It’s a real breakthrough, particularly for owners of smaller businesses. Take Jitso; they build made-to-measure software solutions for clients. An order platform they built for one of their clients is a prime example. They used this platform to automate orders and payments through Tikkie.

Sending hundreds of Tikkies manually

The price of certain products just keeps on rising in supermarkets. So this company came up with an alternative (and cheaper) way to get its products to consumers. However, the company then had to send hundreds of Tikkies manually every week, and record all its orders manually in Excel. This took a lot of time and effort, and let’s face it, it’s difficult to grow when you’re still working with printed order lists.

Jitso and the Tikkie API make scaling up easy

So the company had a good idea, but they needed help with the implementation side. Jitso built them an order platform, where the deliverers could place the orders themselves. The deliverers supply the products, they enter the delivery in the app, and the platform automatically sends the deliverers a Tikkie. The deliverer can only place a new order once the Tikkie has been paid. The process is fully automated and there’s no longer any need for accounts receivable management. With a bit of help from Jitso and the Tikkie API.

Connect the Tikkie API and you’re good to go

Once you’ve connected the Tikkie API, you’re good to go. No more manual transactions, because everything is automatic. Take a look at BUX. Their users transfer money into their accounts using Tikkie. After setting up the connection, BUX didn’t need to do a thing.

How to connect the Tikkie API to your own company systems

You can connect our API through the developer portal. You don’t need Tikkie to do this. Of course, we’re always here to answer any questions. Lots of our clients work with a software party like Jitso. Connecting is quick and easy, but it does depend slightly on the complexity of your own systems.

The Tikkie API is already integrated into lots of software platforms, such as Salesforce, Findock, and King. You might be able to use it straight away!
