Join the ABN AMRO Developer & Accenture Liquid Studio MeetUp in VR (March 31st)

Missing face-to-face MeetUps but also kind of like staying at home? We have the perfect solution. Accenture Liquid Studio and ABN AMRO Developer are organizing a MeetUp in VR!
This MeetUp will be a bit different than you are used to and it will be very cool. If you are going to join, please read the instructions carefully. We really aim to make it a great and innovative experience for you so we hope to “see” you then. Register for the event on our MeetUp page or read more below.
About the event:
The MeetUp will be held in a VR environment in Altspace VR. The goal of this event is to experience our MeetUp in a different way. Experience VR (in 3D or 2D), have interaction with like-minded peers, and get inspired by two inspirational sessions (30min).

16:00–16:30 Walk-in, explore Altspace and VR icebreakers
16:30–17:00 Inspirational session by Accenture
17:00–17:15 Break and fun
17:15 -17:45 Inspirational session by ABN AMRO
17:45 and on… Enjoy the VR experience and talk to each other
Needed to participate in this MeetUp
- You need a laptop (Microsoft or Apple) or you can use these head-mounted displays: Oculus Rift CV1, HTC Vive, Oculus Quest, or Windows Mixed Reality. **Note: make sure your laptop can download Altspace VR**
- You need a Microsoft account
- You need to download Altspace VR
Prepare before the MeetUp:
Preparing for the MeetUp will only take around 15 minutes. Make sure you set everything up before the start of the event. There are multiple ways of setting up your devices. You can find the instructions below. In general, you only need to do three things to set everything up:
- Download Altspave VR (on your VR headset or desktop)
- Open it and log in to (microsoft.com/devicelogin) or register (https://signup.live.com) a Windows Account and log in after
- Adjust your display name and customize your avatar, the best avatar will win a prize!
You are now able to use Altspace. On the day of the event, we will provide the entry code we will use to enter the private MeetUp environment. You will need to enter this code to join the MeetUp.

We will award a prize to the best-created avatar! So, don’t hesitate: set up your profile in Altspace now (read the instructions below) and make the best avatar you can!
Important information:
- This event will be held in a private environment within Altspace. The people (avatars) you encounter have also joined the MeetUp.
- Community behavior standards: Please adhere to the principles that will allow for community members to experience a truly fantastic environment without the threat of defamation and intolerance, bullying, harassment, lewd behavior, or the display of offensive content.
