All about Aboat
Welcome aboard! We want to take you on a little tour through our boat to explain the background to Aboat and our pioneer product Talkaboat.
Who are we actually?
I would say we’re a normal bunch of developers who want to learn and like to philosophize about all kinds of things. One topic that we talk about a lot is cryptocurrencies. A lot has happened here in recent years and many very good basic ideas have emerged, such as: B. Yield Farming, Play 2 Earn and NFTs. Unfortunately, one always has the feeling that the ideas are spinning in circles and the only thing that still penetrates Any Baby, Doge, Heroes and the vulture knows what for Coins. These mostly come with self-declared use cases that, on closer inspection, have no connection with the actual coin and a tokenomic that suggests that the developers actually only want to grab money.

The Aboat token
Why Aboat Token when the project is called Talkaboat? Talkaboat will be our first product based on the Aboat token. All transactions that are carried out within Talkaboat are named on the Aboat token. Be it buying premium content, subscriptions or participating in community fights and the lottery.
There will be a maximum of 1,000,000,000,000 ABOAT, of which 40% (400,000,000,000) will only come onto the market over the next few years in the form of yield farming and a further 15% (150,000,000,000) in the form of rewards . You can find the exact tokenomic in our documentation.
At its core, however, is the reward system, which is repeatedly topped up by transaction fees. The transaction fees are 5–10% depending on the amount of Aboat tokens owned by the person who carries out the transaction and might be reduced some while after launch. The fees are only due for outgoing transactions. So whenever you send the coin from your wallet. However, there are no fees when you deposit or withdraw coins in the Yield Farm.
In the future, the reward system will be used for all Aboat products in order to create a large entertainment ecosystem in which the creators and the consumers can concentrate fully on the content. The background to our reward system is the simplified possibility for consumers to make a donation to their favorite creators. For this reason, we have built an Oracle service that initially stores the rewards centrally and releases them on the blockchain when requested. Here, too, we have thought of our part. Since our platform is not only aimed at crypto-natives, we would like to offer non-crypto users the opportunity to easily and conveniently send their earned rewards to a content creator without paying transaction fees on the blockchain.
the podcast platform
Talkaboat was the trigger for the idea of bringing all possible online entertainment media under one roof (or tokens). The podcast scene made us aware of how difficult it is to get coverage and funding at all. The reason for this is that almost everything goes into the top 15% of podcasters. So why not create a platform where users have the opportunity to learn about new podcasts and even receive additional rewards in the process? That’s why we came up with podcast roulette. Here podcasts are presented at certain intervals that you have not yet heard, but that could match your interests. The whole thing is supposed to provide an additional incentive to listen to a few of the episodes through a reward multiplier. Of course, we don’t just reward the listeners, because the whole thing would be impossible without content creators. That is why both sides receive the reward.
We will also offer the opportunity to listen to advertisements before / during and after the podcasts. However, this is completely voluntary and can be adjusted by the audience as they wish. The advantage here is that content creators and listeners receive an extra boost of Aboat tokens and we can pay for the server and further development of Talkaboat or the Aboat ecosystem.
