A few factoids in random order
I’m sure these items will serve as fodder for many future stories, but for now, this will help the reader understand the variety of topics relating to my background.
My current profile picture is indeed myself, dressed as Jason Vorhees for a work event. The theme was camping and I’ve always “marched to the beat of a different drummer.” Furthermore, it lends itself to my anonymity and my air of mystique since JD Nealey is not my “government name.”
I have been a soldier, a graphic design artist, an insurance agent, a radiographer, and a corrections officer.

I’ve worked in technical support for a large computer company as well as holding different positions in the healthcare industry. Most of these jobs were thoroughly enjoyed, but there were a few I ran screaming from when I just couldn’t take it anymore. The latter part is figuratively speaking, of course.
I am currently a veteran, a grandfather, a stepfather, a cook, a chief bottle washer, and an all-around interesting kind of guy.
