This is me, last summer.

Hi, Medium friends!

My name is Abby. I’m (almost) 20 years old. I’m an English Major. I am in love with music, literature, art, film, theatre…just media in general, honestly. I am a dog lover. I’m a die-hard Taylor Swift fan. And, just to get this out of the way, I am physically disabled, and to cope with living in a ridiculously ableist world, I write about it. It’s been a while since I have posted or browsed on Medium. Last week I decided to post a few of my works sporadically, and I’ve been posting on a daily basis. My stories are getting next to no views, and I’ve made an astonishing four cents, but I don’t care. There is something so fulfilling about seeing your words exist beyond documents, notebooks, margins, and your notes app. It reminds me why I write, to connect with people, to feel less alone in the treacherous time period we are all so bravely enduring. That being said, I would love to connect with people and read your writing. I’ll try really hard not to go over the top highlighting sentences that make my heart sing, but no promises.

As of recent, I’ve been posting poetry, but I write everything (articles, commentary, prose, etc., as well). I will be posting daily, so I have a lot in the works!
