About Me — Adwait Patil

Trying to be more than just thoughts.

Hey guys, what’s up? My name is Adwait Sandeep Patil. I am from Mumbai and I am 28 years old, and I work in Dublin in an IT Solutions company, where I work as a Service Desk Consultant.

First of all, let me preface this introduction by saying that I have now lived, away from home, for the last 8 years of my life. I went to the States in 2016, for my Bachelors, and after I graduated from there in 2018, returned home (to Mumbai) for a year. I didn’t do anything there that year, and in 2019, I came to Dublin, Ireland, where I did my Masters in Information Systems. I graduated in 2020, and now have an IT job in an IT company.

I don’t know why, maybe its an Indian thing, but introductions to me always seem so formal. Like a formal thing to do. And that is why, I had to get that formality out of me. Now I think I can talk to you about myself.

So basically, to know me, you need to know that I am lazy, a procrastinator extremist (is there a group like that somewhere?), and I am, like the name of my profile so nakedly suggests, always lost in thought.

I am always lost in thought, In any moment, In every moment. Even when I was a kid, I was always spaced out.
