Hi everyone, I’m Aidan from a charming rural Irish village in West Tipperary. I’m also a seasoned technologist with over 20 years of experience supporting mission-critical systems with 24*7 exacting uptime requirements.
I’m a proud father of two remarkable kids. My wife is from Nanjing, China. It’s been quite a cultural experience fusing Irish and Chinese customs. While I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge about China, my Chinese language skills could benefit from some tender loving care. I’m currently on a 200-day streak on Duolingo, determined to master this beautiful language.
My passion for writing led me to Medium in August 2023. The joy of crafting words, delving into the works of others, and connecting with like-minded individuals on this platform has been truly fulfilling. I’ve been an avid reader since childhood, and writing has blossomed into a cherished hobby in recent years.
