Journey as a Reader and a Writer
My writing journey has been the longest of all endeavors I have taken up in the short span of my life (26 years, to be precise). That is how I define myself on every social media platform. Wordplay has played a crucial role in my life. For the love of books and the written word, I have my parents and maternal grandmother (Nani) to thank for.
Hailing from India, I was fortunate to have started reading at a very young age. It all started with Harry Potter, as it often does for us readers. Years later, I still remember accompanying my maternal grandfather (Nana) to the library at the Army club for military officers. We returned with a battered old copy of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and a huge smile plastered on my face.
