Hey! I’m Arya. Firstly, I thank you for reaching out to this article. I really acknowledge the time you’re alloting here and showcasing your interest in getting to know me as an individual.
So, I’m a 20 year old budding writer from India. Currently, a student pursuing the undergrad course in commerce. The 20 years that I’m blessed with in life hasn’t been less than a joyous journey. A journey wherein you learn different things at every stage and keep growing as a person. When you look back, you witness a change in yourself. A change in your thoughts, actions, perspective and ultimately the result.
My journey commences with my school, which made me the person I am today. It’s been off lately that I realised that School is an institution teaching you so much more than studies. It makes you believe in yourself, teaches you how to communicate with people, and how to utilise the knowledge gained in the best possible way. Today, when I recall the school memories with my friends and teachers, it makes me ponder over the decisions I made then. Participation in the Elocution and Extempore Competitions helped me realise my interest for public speaking or even volunteering for the school exhibitions assisted in imbibing the virtue of helping and empowering others around.

College further enhanced my work in terms of writing and speaking. Publishing articles in college magazines helped me analyse the audience, their pulse points, and the way to present my thoughts and opinions. Fortunately, both the institutions I’ve studied in encouraged my interest in writing and provided constructive feedback to assist my growth in the same. Now, along with Medium, I aspire to grow further as a writer and express my ideas better.
Talking about my hobbies and interests, I love food with all my heart. Hence, I’m developing my cooking skills, and trying new recipes and cuisines to diversify my palette. I find it extremely relaxing for the mind and heart. Having said that, there are times, when the recipe fails. However, it simply makes you aware that failures create experiences and teach lessons lasting a lifetime. I also find comfort in reading books, specifically self-help, biographies, and autobiographies. They provide immense healing for the mind, body and soul, and also assist in the process of growth all the while.

Saving the best for the last, I love communicating with people. It is a life skill, I’m still learning but thoroughly enjoying the process. You just understand so many perspectives, gain knowledge, get inspired, and empower individuals. It’s simply beautiful.
To conclude, I just wish to express gratitude to my parents, my teachers at school and college, my friends, and every single individual who helped me be better as a person. You mean so much to me!
Well, that’s a sneak peek into my life and I hope that you enjoyed reading the same.
