About Me — Carol Townend
They say I should have been ‘born in a book’ for a reason.
I’m a writer who writes on many different things, and I never stick to one Niche. I feel that to expand in the world of writing, you have to step out of your comfort zone and explore different areas. I write on serious topics, true-life, fiction, non-fiction and many more. I also love raunchy stories, especially of a bi-sexual/lesbian nature. I spend a life in books and onscreen just doing the one thing I love most reading and writing, and I am currently writing my first book. People say I should have been ‘born in a book!’ and others say that I was born with a ‘writing brain!’
I live in the beautiful coastal town of Bournemouth, Dorset, U.K. However, I am originally from Yorkshire, but I moved in order to change my life after trauma. I love where I live now, I have been here over 10 years and there is so much to explore. I am happier in myself and extremely content with my life here.
I am a full-time-carer and wife to my husband who I love with all my heart, and I have even encouraged him to restart his writing journey after he had to give up work when Covid-19 hit him and made all his disabilities more severe, including those left behind by cancer treatment at just 3 years old. He is now as addicted to writing as me, and he blames me for it!
