About Me — Caterina
From fearing I’d never travel enough to living on and traveling to four continents
I still remember the fear I had of not traveling or living in enough places in my lifetime.
(Funnily enough, I had just moved from Italy to Portugal to pursue my Master’s degree.)
How distorted can a 23-year-old’s perception of a ‘lifetime’ be?
Since then, not only did I end up living as an expat in Portugal for three years, but I also lived in Brazil, the UK, Poland, and the U.S. Plus, I’ve worked and traveled as a digital nomad in several more.
Back to that fear in my early 20s
After proving to myself that I could move to other countries, study, work, and build new lives there, I realized I no longer wanted to create a new sense of ‘home.’
I simply didn’t care to recreate that feeling anymore!
That’s when I transitioned — though not without effort — into a job that allowed me to work from anywhere and travel the world.
